Dr. Dietrich Wittekind, who founded the company in 2004, gained his knowledge in over 20 years on shipyards where he was responsible for strength, shock and acoustics of submarines. Since 2022 Thomas Büchler is leading the company in the next generation. DW-ShipConsult is part of JASCO Applied Sciences, a group of companies which provides consulting and research services for assessing and mitigating underwater noise.
